Hey Guys. We hope that you have all had a great Christmas and are gearing up for a big New Years Eve. We also hope that you are getting plenty of time to Skate, Surf or are getting some freshies in the Northern Hemisphere.
We have been surfing a bunch and i think we owe it all to the Drums. Thanks to Triple J for playing this song a bunch. You have motivated us to get waves at 4.am some mornings. I thought we would share a bit of summer tunes the we be listening to. We hope you Enjoy this as much as we do.

After closing up work today at Street Machine at Chapel St, was a bit crazy to see this happen to the store next door to us… undercover cop car with a u-turn gone wrong! good thing no body got hurt, could have been extra gnarly!!!
Somehow I feel if the cop was wearing Ashburys this whole thing could have been avoided.img_10601img_1061img_1062

Issue 14 of Pop Magazine, Australia’s premier free press skate/snow/surf magazine is in stores.
With summer well and truly here, we thought it only appropriate to feature the latest men’s and women’s swimwear in our first annual Swimsuit Issue.
Don’t think we’ve forgotten our roots. We chased down Slovenian Marko Grilc after his massive Air & Style win to see what that felt like, talked to Steph Gilmore and her sister/manager Whitney about winning another world title, got the state of the industry from People Creative’s director Pierre Minhondo and talked about the past and present with Corbin Harris. Oh and the guys behind the production house Krozm gave us some insight into what those intro scenes from Modern Collective are all about.
Of course there’s the awesome products reviews that you expect. There’s the a new roadster out, the BMW z4 sDrive35i and we got to ride one of the coolest and unique motorbikes built, the Triumph Scrambler. For the film lovers there’s an impartial and no-holds-barred review of all the snowboard films you need to see from 2009, a retrospective on some of the great skate video soundtracks and an interview with Hollywood director Nicholas Jasenovec.
Yep, Pop’s still free and still available in all your favorite skate, snow and surf shops around Australia.
Words from Rick Baker.
